A concerning video circulating on social media reportedly shows a group of men firing weapons at a snowmobiling bridge in the MacTier area. A subsequent video captures the aftermath, revealing significant damage to the bridge and its signage, along with scattered bullet casings, shells, and other debris.
The Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have announced that they are investigating the unlawful use of firearms, prompted by the online footage. Authorities have emphasized the gravity of the situation, highlighting that the careless discharge of firearms poses a serious threat to public safety.
According to Bracebridge OPP, individuals engaging in such reckless behavior may face serious legal ramifications under Ontario’s Criminal Code. Offenses could include:
- Careless use of a firearm (Section 86)
- Mischief or destruction of property (Section 430)
- Unauthorized possession or discharge of a firearm (Sections 91-95, depending on circumstances)
These regulations are designed to promote responsible firearm ownership and prioritize the safety of the community, say police. Those found guilty may confront charges, have their firearms seized, and could potentially face jail time.
The Bracebridge OPP commend the community for their continued support in promoting public safety and encourage anyone with information to come forward.

I am more scared of meeting one of these guys driving a big rig on our roads than meeting one with a gun. When it comes to guns, I can protect myself.
The main issue I have with this image is the illusion that two guns are pointed at a man with a turban. It could be construed as racism towards Sikhs or others who wear a turban. Surely, there are other photos that could have been used.
Seems Canada is lost. Millions come in with no criminal background checks, apply for refugee status and governments spend billions to feed and house (4 star hotels with three meals plus) while our homeless freeze in the streets. All three main political parties stay silent. Wonder why.
Police chief has to resign today.
It is that simple and any line head involved in this Mickey Mouse investigation.
As immigrants to Canada after the second world War we were grateful to Canada for accepting us and providing a safe haven and opportunities for a better life. We learned the language and laws and adhered to them. This doesn’t seem to be the case with some of the so called new refugees. If laws are broken their refugee status should be revoked and deported to the country they cane from. Why should Canadian citizens pay for them to be tried and time in jail.
Clearly importer Liberal voters. I strongly believe the government will discouraged any investigation and/or action against it’s voters. The applicable laws are only meant to control Canadians. I’m surprised it is even allowed to be reported on.
You can tell that these people are not originally from Canada by the turbines.
They likely didn’t know this was illegal.
But with their large refugee funds from the Canadian government;they will be able to get a lawyer. Then the judge will see they are immigrants and grant them a FULL pardon. GOT TO LOVE CANADA.
