Burk’s Falls resident wins $100,000

Kenneth Turner of Burk’s Falls won a $100,000 prize on INSTANT GIFT PACK.

Ken, a 66-year-old father, said he’s an occasional lottery player. “I buy tickets when I have some extra change in my pocket. I treated myself to the INSTANT GIFT PACK,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “When I saw I matched the number 33 and what I had won, I was so surprised I almost fell off my bed!”

When Ken brought his ticket to the store, he watched the clerk’s eyes widen. “I was so excited I couldn’t sleep for about five days – I just couldn’t believe it was true.”

Ken said he is grateful for this win at this time in his life. “I haven’t really thought about what to do with the money yet, but I think there will be a new vehicle in my future. It’s such an unbelievable experience,” he concluded.

OLG supports safe play and wants to keep the fun in the game. That’s why OLG is proud to be a leader in promoting responsible gambling with our globally recognized PlaySmart program.

INSTANT GIFT PACK was available during the holiday season for $20 a play. Odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.19.

The winning ticket was purchased at Burk’s Falls Kwik Way on Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls.
