The Gravenhurst Athletes of the Month for January are Joe Dickinson and Elaine Gripper.
Joe consistently demonstrated leadership, effort and commitment with the senior boys basketball team this season. He was counted on to play nearly every minute of every game and he worked hard to maintain energy, positivity, and composure both on and off the court. Joe helped lead his team to both the MPS and Georgian Bay championships and we look forward to his continued leadership next season. Congratulations Joe!
Elaine was a member of the junior girls volleyball team. Elaine was 1 of 2 setters that never came off the court. She played great defense at the Uxbridge tournament and at both the MPS and GBSSA championships. Elaine’s setting also improved over the last month. Great job Elaine.
