A Huntsville man who was unhappy with his bank took it out on an employee, a Bracebridge court heard recently.
Keith Oldfield, 72, pled guilty to assault stemming from an incident that occurred June 20, 2023.
Court heard Oldfield went to close an account at a bank in Huntsville. When he was told there was a hold on the account he became upset and started yelling and swearing at the staff. The situation escalated and Oldfield punched a bank employee in the face.
Oldfieldsubsequently attended the Huntsville OPP detachment and turned himself in.
Court heard he has no criminal record and he was given a conditional discharge and six months of probation.
