The community is mourning the tragic loss of long-time Muskoka-area reporter Mary Beth Hartill.
As per Muskokaregion.com, Mary Beth Hartill passed away on April 12th at Andy’s house hospice Muskoka in Port Carling after a brief battle with cancer.
Hartill spent the last 15 years working with Metroland newspapers out of Bracebridge and Almaguin.
She was known not only as an accomplished journalist but also as someone who was truly invested in the material and individuals she was covering, as well as the Muskoka community at large.
