Downtown Bracebridge will add another Mexican-themed eatery to its retinue of restaurants this long weekend.
Today a spokesperson from the Mas Playas restaurant group confirmed they will be opening a location in the Hiram Street Market, located on Taylor Road between Hiram Street and Manitoba Street. The new restaurant will occupy the former home of Sully’s restaurant.
The spokesperson said the soft launch will take place over the Canada Day Long Weekend with a proper launch at an unspecified time in the future.
The planned hours of operation are Tuesday to Saturday noon until 10 pm.
Mas Playas website currently lists five restaurant locations within the GTA.
The website describes the restaurants as such:
“Mas Playas is the name of our restaurant group which translates literally to “more beaches”. We like to think of each endeavor as a blank canvas of exploration the same way we would imagine the discovery of a new beach. Each of our venues was born out of a desire to take on the challenge of building an exciting and original venue as well as the challenge of creating new and interesting menus.
Mas Playas is made up of a group of restaurants that each reflect our journey of creativity as well as our ever-growing passion for hospitality. What we care most about is creating dishes and cocktails that people will want to come back for again and again.”
