It’s shaping up to be a great weekend to get your fix of quality baseball in Muskoka.
The Muskoka Hornets are hosting the York-Simcoe 18U AA provincial qualifier this weekend and the Hornets are one of seven squads vying for two spots in the provincials in mid-August.
Game action starts Friday evening at Kerr Park in Bracebridge and McCulley Robertson in Huntsville and the Hornets play their first game at 8:30 pm at Diamond F in Huntsville against Thornhill. The format is lose two games and you are out (double elimination).
“It is so great to be back to playing normal and meaningful summer baseball for our Hornets travel teams and our house league in Huntsville each Wednesday night has rocked it all summer.,” says Peter Haynes, President of the Muskoka Hornets.
Scores will be posted on Hornets’ social media pages as updated.
