In February 2023, members of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), assisted by the Detachment Crime Unit, began an investigation into a historical sexual assault incident that occurred in August of 2003, at the Ontario Deaf Camp in Seguin Township.
As a result of the investigation, Steve BURROWS a 54-year-old person, from Toronto, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Exploitation
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound at a later date.
