From the Town of Gravenhurst:
The splash pad and washrooms at Muskoka Wharf Sports Field, 1111 Bay St., will not open until later in the summer due to the Bay and Beyond infrastructure project.
Equipment staging in the area, construction, and dust from the project are factors in the decision to keep the facilities closed for now.
The aim is to open the splash pad and washrooms in August, subject to the progress of the Bay and Beyond project.
In the meantime, people looking to cool down are encouraged to check out one of the many great beaches in our community.
