Another commenter offered the following anecdote:
“That was probably Art Empryham not sure of spelling. He brought the very first to Muskoka. When I was 11 started work at Beaumaris Marine. .One morning an old gentleman named Tom Wroe came into the marina freaked out. He said he had seen an alien vehicle on Lake Muskoka and it came out of the water and drove up on ” Puddin Rock, he was scared to death. About ten minutes later Art arrived in his amphicar. No one ha even known they existed. That was 1961 so not sure if its his or another.”
